Serta Sheep Slippers are slippers in the shaped like the Serta Counting Sheep. You know the ones, the cute little sheep that are in the commercials for Serta Mattresses. Those little guys have sort of taken on a life of their own. They are everywhere. So it should be no surprise that they are available in slipper form.

These little fluffy furry wonders have taken over in cuteness on an all time high of customer response for the mattress giants. They are equally becoming available all over eBay as well. These cute little fuzzy Serta Sheep Slippers seem to have become an overnight sensation.

Why shouldn’t they? The sheep themselves have gained acceptance as funny cute lovable out of luck sheep by audiences of all ages. It goes without saying that what the kids accept and parents accept are surely to do well on the market.

The Serta Sheep Slippers have come a long way. They were first introduced as an advertising gimmick by Serta Sleep Mattresses. The whole idea behind them was what better parting gift after purchasing a new mattress than a pair of slippers. Then they thought and brainstormed what form would work well.

Believe it or not the slippers almost ended up in the shape of a night light. It was at the final meeting that someone came up with the idea of counting sheep. What better idea that a pair of Serta Sheep Slippers? Then it was time for the concept to be brought to life.

Serta Sheep Slippers happened to be born as a sort of mistake if you will. The advertising department had been playing with the idea of tying the childhood remedy of counting sheep on restless nights into their mattress sales. They had already had the sheep made and were playing around trying to see how to tie them into the mattresses. The idea came out somehow to turn them into slippers and an overnight success was born.
